I wish I had a little more options with lighting and the selections for cabinet design, such as upper and lower finishes and under cabinet outlets. I also wish that designs featured in the model homes could be selected as well, such as mirrors, fireplace finishes….. |

Made several choices based on offers in the Design Catalogue and it took days before a response was offered with the negative decision. This was mainly crown molding restrictions, and I feel crown molding is the icing on the cake. So I decided to add the beams to the 20 foot ceiling but that was not viable either. I can certainly understand the design may not lend itself to adding all of the offered beams but one beam in the peak would enhance this space. It is extremely difficult to add after closing due to the height of that ceiling. |
Actually, I have already recommended the June Lake area to several in my current neighborhood who are wanting to downsize. I think Signature has quality features and does construction well. The landscape design is especially well done. The appropriate sized plantings are recognizable in every phase of this development from the moment one drives through the entrance. I have been dealing with the fallout of poor choices in my Franklin Community with bucking sidewalks from tree roots, to having to remove trees that were too large for small yards. I believe we are all driven by our own life experiences which makes me more sensitive to this issue. Well done, Signature Homes. |

Try to always be transparent and up front with all final figures including closing costs when you can so customer is well informed. Also, some of your upgrades seemed to be a little thought provoking. For example, why does it cost $75.00 extra per cut out in bathroom sink for square instead of oval? and why such a low allowance for lighting allowance? I know you are in business to make money, and I have no idea what your costs are, but this is just my uneducated oppinion. Thank you. |

Since we are out of state, our agent and home inspector attended in person. There were very minor adjustments and they were addressed in a timely manner. |

I already recommend Signature Homes based on these early experiences. One nuance that would have helped my experience is enabling me to perform more cost calculations ahead of the design appointment. I am probably outside the norm, but it would have been nice to have the area numbers for common calculations. Like backsplash, primary bed, etc. |

Everything has been great... the only thing that I was disappointed in was that the tree in my front yard died. I told them when I moved in within the first few days that the tree did not look like it was going to make it and I was told it would. When I realized it was indeed dead - I did a Warranty request. I know you do not warrant landscaping but it was dying when they put it in. |
