I told them when I moved in within the first few days that the tree did not look like it was going to make it and I was told it would. When I realized it was indeed dead - I did a Warranty request. I know you do not warrant landscaping but it was dying when they put it in. |

The build quality was reviewed by 2 General Contractor friends whom were quite skeptical that I was making an ill informed decision by building in Spring Hill (not Franklin). After each of their walkthroughs (done separately) they marveled at the quality, speed, and price point. Of the few punch list items they not picked, all were addressed during frame review and corrected with no issue! This is as good as it gets in my book! |
Slight nit pick item- you may want to consider waiving the 500.00 change fee when incremental additions go over a certain threshold. For example - if I added a sconce and that was only change - the absolutely, an additional change fee seems legit, but if I add 3,500.00 + of new additions then, in margin alone the 500.00 change fee has been recouped and show be considered for waiving. Just a thought though! It may even encourage an upgrade or two! |

Melissa and Mike were awesome! I know how much volume they're probably juggling but they made it feel like we were their only customers. We were one of Melissa's first appointments, but we honestly couldn't tell. They were very helpful and welcoming! |
The only thing worth mentioning was that Melissa had to use an iPad for the entire appointment which made things a little more difficult when trying to visualize for the whole table - there were 4 of us and two of them... so 6 people all huddled around the iPad could get difficult. I think having a TV to screen share to would have easily solved this minor issue. Didn't affect our satisfaction with the meetings though. |

Working with every team involved was a pleasant experience; even the owner dewight called and talked with me for 15 minutes. |
I shared with Dewight that the only area I could recommend improvement on is subcontractors and following details. I found several mistakes in the process that should have been caught by the builders and tradesmen. There is never time to do things right but always time to redo them. Haste creates waist. The gutter people have been here multiple times from water running behind the gutters. When they tried to fix them, they ran large screws through the boards which look bad. If I were the builder, I would make sure craftsmen did not repeat the same issue. |

I have been on planet Earth for 73 years....I've built, bought or sold many houses throughout a corporate career & several relocations...I have found that Signature Homes does build a very nice, tight, quality house. It is true, I am still settling in but making progress each day. The after sale team and the warranty folks have been very good at responding to the few quirks that I had as you would expect with any new construction. The neighborhood (June Lake) is coming along just fine with my street (phase 2) just about 100 % occupied except for the MODEL HOMES. One of the suggestions that I could make seems trivial but will become important to a buyer after move-in....the shower heads....yes, the shower heads. The standard model that is used by Signature homes is not very good and I have actually changed both of mine out for ones that do what they are supposed to do....I would suggest that your customer experience team actually go into a model home and use the shower to illustrate what I speak of. |
In order to assist new home owners within your new Signature community, have a list prepared for all of the utility, gas, electric, trash, cable, security numbers and contacts that will be needed along with web sites addresses, emails, etc. and what the process would be for each of these entities. You could have someone in your office making these calls, developing a list with the aforementioned items that I suggested to be presented prior to sale or at closing. Signature does provide a rudimentary list of numbers but this list is insufficient for all of the nuances that a new homeowner will encounter. Have one of your staff members spend a morning or an afternoon making these calls, develop a MASTER LIST for new owners. |
