The whole experience of buying to designing the house to delivery was just amazing. People like Christina, Hanna and Austin are amazing people to work with. They provided exceptional customer service and made the whole experience very special. |
We raised several issues during the final walkthrough and were assured that they would be addressed; however, many of them remain unresolved.
For example, I reported a dead tree and several dead patches of sod to CJ before closing, but these issues have still not been taken care of. The paint on the exterior doors appears to be of poor quality, as it scratches off easily, even with a fingernail. I also highlighted areas of floor bulging before closing, and those concerns have yet to be be resolved.
Additionally, I pointed out that the attic access pole was missing, and we still have not received it. We are also experiencing an issue with a faucet. While the plumbing company responded promptly, it has now been 20 days and we still have not received an estimated timeline for the repair.
Overall, the quality of our Signature home is exceptional, and we are pleased with the home itself. However, the handling and resolution of these outstanding items could certainly be improved. |

This was our first experience with a new build home and it has been amazing!! Everyone has been so quick to figure out problems! |
So the only thing which isn’t really on (signature homes I don't think) is the security guards you pick need to be kind and thinking of the home owner. There is one security guard that has been a hassle and bothering our guests and pestering where we park early in the mornings. It has been the only bad experience we have had! |

If there is one thing that you could have done better, is to have more time during blue-tape walkthrough. 90min -120min does not seem sufficient to identify and blue tape record any observations. |

Good company to buy a house from. Still experiencing low and fluctuation water pressure issues, not necessarily reflection on Signature, as I know the personnel are trying to solve a utility issue mostly out of their control. So far after speaking with Milcrofton, Ghertner and Signature about the pressure issues, no solution has presented itself. Haven’t spoken to the HOA (Meritage) as they haven’t called me back, but likely would hear the same “we don’t know what to do to solve issue.” So for now, the low water pressure affects how fast hot water is pushed to the inside faucets, and unable to use my irrigation system during periods of 30 PSI or lower (usually atleast twice per day). Again, more of a developer vs. utility company argument to have. |

Since securing our lot (which was not an enjoyable experience, but I recognize there is no great way to do that), everything with Signature has been A+. Great communication with Hannah and the design team. Austin is extremely knowledgeable and reasonable to work with. One thing that really sets you out is, my kids had written their names above their doorframes to their rooms, and when Austin went into the house to spray paint on the foundation, he spray painted their names on the ground instead of BR3 or BR4. Little touch points like that are just so great as a first-time home builder. |
Refining the lot lottery or purchase system. Beyond that, as far as design, it would be helpful to know going into the design appointments if certain choices are no longer available. For instance, we wanted a certain brick selection, and thankfully had a backup, because when we went into the meeting, we learned that the lot next door had chosen our preferred brick so it was unavailable. We had a backup, and moved right along, but I could see where that information could affect other buyers who had not considered the possibility that their first choice wasn't an option. Additionally, we thought we could get beams in the vaulted ceiling, but learned during our second design appointment we could not. I know there is now a plan personalization guide, but maybe if you made that available to buyers even at lot selection that could help, because we are bummed that we could not do the beams. |
