Feedback
We genuinely love the house and the neighborhood, and overall we are happy with where we live. That said, it has been difficult to overlook the number of issues we have had to address over the past year, some of which are still ongoing. While many of these have been surface-level items, they do raise concern about what issues may exist that are not immediately visible. There have also been a few smaller but frustrating service follow-through issues. For example, we received a cutting board as a holiday gift shortly after closing, but it had the wrong initials. I was told this was a mistake and that a corrected one would be sent, but that never happened. It is a minor item, but the lack of follow-through has left a lingering negative impression. Finally, the walking trail near our home floods during very heavy rain. Neighbors raised this concern, but Signature declined to address it, which was disappointing given the impact on usability and safety.Taken together, these issues made it difficult for us to rate our experience higher, despite our overall satisfaction with the home itself. The single most important improvement would be stronger quality control throughout the build process and more consistent follow-through after closing. While we love the design, layout, and neighborhood, many of the issues we encountered felt preventable with more rigorous inspections and attention to detail before handoff. Addressing items thoroughly before closing, rather than reactively afterward, would go a long way toward building confidence and trust. In addition, closing the loop on promised fixes would reinforce the sense that issues are truly resolved, not just acknowledged.
