I am an organized person and would liked to have had the information and manuals on appliances, fans with remotes. Information on paint colors, type of plants and grass. Zach did a very good job of explaining everything during the walk thru but it was way too much to remember. It was a big hassle getting our fence approved. Since Shelby Fence constructs most of the fences here, it seems the information needed from the HOA should be standard and better communication with the HOA and Shelby Fence would be helpful. I guess overall, better communication with Signature Homes would be beneficial. Nancy, Rachel, Kelly and Tim have been most helpful. We have purchased the lot and home style and placed a down payment. This is a community for 55 + age people. many items in the home are not specifically address to the age of the occupants. Some examples are grab bars in shower and commode area, shower heads are way too tall and need to have the hand held shower head automatically added. closet shelving is too tall. Many small items could be discussed with the new owners without causing a lot of changes. Some of the items could automatically be added to the construction and not simply offered as an additional cost.
